About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Clinic Customer Care Officer to join our Veterinary Clinic team in Burwood East. Operating on a 4-week rotating roster. Shifts range from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with a 1-in-4 weekend rotation, including some public holidays.
You'll rotate across reception, phone support, and occasional consulting room assistance, serving as the first point of contact for clients and their pets within a large, dynamic clinic of 40+ nurses and 30 veterinarians spanning specialties including orthopaedics, ophthalmology, internal medicine, exotics, and shelter medicine.
Success requires professionalism, strong communication, and accuracy in documentation — all within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities

Welcome clients warmly in person and by phone, coordinate appointments, manage waiting room flow, and maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked reception area

Handle multiple tasks calmly in a fast-paced environment while communicating clearly and compassionately between clients and clinical staff

Maintain accurate medical records and database information with strong attention to detail

Process payments and manage financial transactions efficiently

Support community education initiatives that promote animal welfare and awareness of RSPCA services
