Towerperson to support our Engineering Department and help maintain the high standards our guests expect.
About the Role:As a Towerperson, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our guest rooms and front-of-house areas. This position is ideal for someone proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about maintenance and hospitality excellence.
Key Responsibilities:-
Attend to and complete guest room maintenance requests promptly and professionally

Perform minor carpentry, plumbing, painting, and general maintenance works (not requiring special licences)

Clean and maintain ventilation systems, including air conditioning coils, filters, ducting, and air handling units

Assist Shift Engineers and tradespersons (electricians, carpenters, painters, fitters) as required

Carry out preventative maintenance tasks according to the scheduled plan

Prepare daily reports detailing completed work, hours, and materials used

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of plant rooms and Engineering Department areas

Ensure proper handling, security, and use of tools, spare parts, and consumables

Support additional tasks as assigned to meet departmental objectives
What we're looking for:

Previous experience in general maintenance, facilities, or hotel engineering (preferred)

Basic skills across multiple trades (carpentry, plumbing, painting, etc.)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach

Excellent time management and communication skills

Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
