About Us
Big Loaf Factory is a busy, community-focused bakery known for artisan breads, quality coffee, and warm, friendly service. We’re looking for a capable and driven staff to join both our barista and front of house team.
We are a small team, so this individual can’t be afraid to roll up their sleeves, some days this person might be one of only three staff on shift. That means "it's not my job" is not an attitude that is acceptable. Whether you are a barista, or front-of house, what matters is that it's one team.
We keep it simple and focus on our customers, and our food.
Role Overview
This position is suited to someone who absolutely loves people. We expect our customers to be greeted with a smile and an acknowledgement. We care about people, and our food. This person will be focused on excellent customer service, ensuring our food is displayed with care & attention to detail, and ensuring the shop is kept stocked. Some days this might also mean helping with cleaning, dishes, etc.
What will you be doing?
Welcoming and serving customers our food and drinks
Assisting with customer enquiries
Opening and closing the store
General cleaning and stocking of display fridges, outside areas, etc
Contributing to the positive vibe of our team
Who are you?
Experience in a previous setting, including barista experience, is desired, but not required
Strong communication, organisation skills and enjoy a bustling environment
You believe in real, delicious, whole food that makes people feel good
You believe in delivering the best customer service and experience therefore creating great relationships
Availability to work flexible hours, including Weekends
