Supply and Distribution Manager
Full-time (Minimum 38 hours per week) On-site Position

Salary: $80,000 to $90,000 per annum plus superannuation
About the Business
Century Copy Centre is an Australian print and reprographics business specialising in digital plan printing, digital scanning, CAD plotting, tender set management, photocopying, binding, laser colour copying, laminating and mounting. Based in Southbank, Victoria, the business supports clients across the construction, architecture, engineering and corporate sectors with high-volume print production and document distribution services. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Supply and Distribution Manager to oversee and coordinate procurement, stock control and distribution activities for our Southbank facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish, implement and oversee Century Copy Centre's procurement, materials management and document distribution strategies, policies and operational plans for the Southbank facility, ensuring alignment with the company's service and production objectives
- Develop, implement and monitor operational budgets and cost-control measures for the procurement, stock-holding and distribution of print consumables including paper stock, toner, plotting media and laminating/mounting materials, ensuring efficient use of resources and achievement of financial and service targets
- Develop and implement stock management and inventory control strategies for print production materials and consumables to minimise costs, reduce discrepancies and ensure continuous supply for digital plan printing, CAD plotting and photocopying operations
- Conduct supplier negotiations and manage vendor agreements with paper, toner, plotting and printing consumables suppliers to secure competitive pricing, quality standards and delivery performance in line with company requirements and service level commitments
- Continuously assess and refine stock and inventory management systems to meet the company's print production requirements, optimise stock levels and minimise shrinkage, discrepancies and inefficiencies
- Oversee logistics and inventory recording systems to ensure accurate tracking of inbound consumables and outbound completed jobs including tender sets, plans and bound or laminated documents, and direct timely replenishment and restocking activities to maintain uninterrupted production
- Collaborate with internal departments and clients to determine outbound delivery requirements for completed print, scanning and tender set jobs, establishing delivery priorities and coordinating appropriate courier or distribution solutions across Melbourne and interstate as required
- Oversee the accurate recording, reconciliation and reporting of all purchasing, storage and distribution transactions within the company's inventory and job management systems, ensuring data integrity, compliance and reliable operational reporting
- Monitor operational performance of stock control and distribution activities against service standards and turnaround time KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to enhance efficiency and client service outcomes
- Lead, manage and evaluate the performance of production support and distribution staff, including workforce planning, allocation of duties and performance management, while promoting a safe and productive work environment
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and internal company policies across all procurement, stock and distribution activities
- Oversee the consistent and reliable delivery of the company's tender set management, plan printing and document distribution services to meet client requirements and agreed turnaround times
- Report operational performance, risks and improvement opportunities to the Managing Director and support strategic planning for procurement and distribution operations
Required Skills and Qualifications
Qualification and Employment:
- A relevant AQF Bachelor degree or higher qualification in management, logistics, business, supply chain, or a related field;
- ORA Bachelor degree in a non-closely related field supported by a minimum of three (3) years of relevant full-time work experience in logistics, procurement, stock control or distribution operations in a managerial capacity.
- Minimum one (1) year of relevant full-time experience in a Supply and Distribution Manager or equivalent role within a procurement, warehousing, stock control or distribution environment.Required Skills and Attributes

3. Demonstrated ability to develop operational reports, performance dashboards and KPI frameworks.
4. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations effectively to management and clients.
5. Sound understanding of procurement, stock control and distribution operations, with awareness of process optimisation techniques.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment while managing multiple competing priorities.
7. High attention to detail, strong organisational capability and a demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
