Job Description
We're looking for a passionate and driven Business Development Manager – Golf & Sporting Groups to join the team at Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort, home to one of Australia's most iconic golf courses.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for golf and a proven sales background to drive business growth across Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort and Elysia Wellness Retreat. You'll focus on developing new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and positioning our properties as leading destinations for golf and sporting group experiences.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to grow golf and sporting group business.

Identify and build relationships with key clients across golf clubs, sporting organisations, schools, and leisure travel markets.

Generate new business through proactive sales activity, networking, and tailored proposals.

Collaborate with resort operations, events, revenue, and marketing teams to deliver exceptional group experiences.

Represent the properties at industry events, trade shows, and golf tournaments.

Conduct client meetings and site inspections while maintaining accurate CRM records and sales reporting.

Build strategic partnerships with tourism and sporting organisations to drive group bookings and revenue.
Qualifications

2-4 years' experience in business development or sales, ideally within the golf, hospitality, tourism, or sporting industries.

A proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing key accounts.

Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

A proactive, self-motivated approach and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
