Chauffer/ Personal Driver
Location: Fitzroy North & Templestowe
Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable, professional, and discreet Family Assistant / Personal Family Driver to support a private household. This role is primarily focused on driving and transportation, with additional assistance provided through errands and day-to-day family support. The successful candidate will be well-presented, punctual, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a casual family environment.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm
- Flexibility may be required for occasional airport transfers or ad-hoc requests.
- Some weekends and late nights.
Key Responsibilities
Driving & Transportation (Primary Focus)
- Daily school drop-off and pick-up duties, ensuring punctuality and safety at all times.
- Provide reliable transportation for the Principal and all family members as required.
- Airport drop-off and pick-up services for the family.
- Plan routes efficiently and adapt to traffic or schedule changes as needed.
Vehicle Care & Maintenance
- Wash, clean, and maintain family vehicles to a high standard.
- Ensure vehicles are kept in excellent condition, roadworthy, and presentable at all times.
- Monitor fuel levels, basic maintenance needs, and report any issues promptly.
Family Assistance & Errands
- Run general errands, including grocery pick-ups and other household tasks.
- Provide ad-hoc support to the household as requested.
- Assist with day-to-day logistics to help the family operate smoothly.
Work Environment & Dress Code
- No uniform required
- Role is based in a casual, respectful private household environment
- Professional conduct and discretion are essential.
Requirements & Compliance
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
- Valid National Police Check.
- Full, unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in a driving, family assistant, or similar private support role preferred.
- High level of reliability, trustworthiness, and confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.46 – $47.41 per hour
