The Role
As part of the workshop maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of heavy mining equipment to ensure maximum reliability and fleet performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults on mining equipment
- Completing planned servicing and preventative maintenance
- Carrying out inspections, testing, and diagnostics
- Supporting breakdown repairs and component replacements
- Ensuring repairs are completed safely and within required timeframes
- Identifying maintenance improvements and reliability initiatives
- Working collaboratively within a skilled maintenance team
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Trade qualification in Auto Electrical
- Post-trade experience on mining or heavy earthmoving equipment
- Valid air-conditioning ticket
- Current Queensland driver’s licence
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability
- A proactive attitude and commitment to safe work practices
