What you will do:
-
Work closely with key stakeholders to develop effective relationships that facilitate the successful communication and implementation of Georgiou’s HSE systems
-
Ensure project teams are adequately trained to perform their HSE responsibilities and provide ongoing coaching to ensure total compliance with internal HSE systems and legislative requirements
-
Support the business in the preparation of toolbox and HSE pre-start content
-
Implements and communicates improvements and strategies in response to changes impacting HSE activities
-
Maintaining and assisting in the ongoing development of Georgiou’s HSE systems
-
Influence a positive attitude and commitment towards safety across the business
What you are good at:
- 6+ years' experience in the health and safety space delivery major civil infrastructure projects
-
Rail experience, TMR and QR experience is favourable
-
Demonstrated leadership experience within your team and project
-
Aside from having experience in a previous safety role with working knowledge ideally within the civil construction industry and chain of responsibility requirements. You should have demonstrated examples to showcase:

Thorough Knowledge of AS/NZS 4801, ISO 14001, Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Act & Regulations

Incident Investigation experience
-
Knowledge of Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act
