Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated cook to join our kitchen operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and cleanliness. If you have at least one year of experience in a similar role, are passionate about maintaining food standards and controlling costs, and are available to work both day shift and 3-5 night shift, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Kitchen Setup: Prepare and organize the kitchen before the restaurant opens to ensure smooth operations throughout service.
- Food Preparation: Assist with food prep and ensure food is prepared according to recipes and quality standards.
- Maintaining Quality: Ensure all food items meet our high standards for taste, presentation, and quality.
- Cost Control: Monitor kitchen inventory, manage food costs, and minimize waste while maintaining product quality.
- Cleaning & Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, including cleaning all workstations, equipment, and utensils before restaurant closing.
- Food Storage: Store all food products and prep items in the proper manner to maintain freshness and compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a kitchen role.
- Must be available to work both day and night shifts.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen safety, food hygiene standards, and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently and effectively under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.
- Ability to manage inventory and control costs.
