About the role
Salisbury Collision Centre is a family-run business in the heart of Salisbury. We have an available position within our team. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Automotive Panel Beater for an immediate start. We are a well-established automotive repair shop known for quality and attention to detail. Candidates must have valid work authorisation to work in Australia.
We are looking for the following qualities.
- Assess vehicle body damage and determine appropriate repair methods in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Remove damaged panels, trims, mouldings, lights and other components to access and repair affected areas.
- Repair dents, creases and structural damage using specialised tools, welding techniques, and mechanical or hydraulic straightening equipment.
- Replace damaged body panels and vehicle components with new or approved replacement parts.
- Prepare repaired surfaces by applying fillers and carrying out sanding, grinding and finishing work to ensure a quality repair outcome.
- Cut, fabricate and weld replacement sections where required to restore vehicle integrity and appearance.
- Perform repairs on a range of passenger vehicles, SUVs, 4WDs and light commercial vehicles.
- Complete repairs for insurance, fleet and private customers while meeting required quality and productivity targets.
- Work closely with estimators, spray painters and workshop supervisors to ensure repair plans are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the repair process to ensure vehicles are returned to manufacturer and workplace standards.
- Maintain accurate records of repair work performed and communicate any additional damage identified during repairs.
- Maintain workshop equipment and ensure all work is carried out in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements.

Benefits
- Monday–Thursday 7:30 am–4:30 pm, Friday finishes at 12 pm.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
