- Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist in planning and executing menu items for various events, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.
- Overseeing food preparation and cooking during events, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene at all times.
- Assisting in inventory management, including stock control, ordering, and stock rotation to minimize waste.
- Training and supervising junior kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food production and adherence to recipes.
Required skills
- Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or similar role in events catering
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures including pastry skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong leadership and communication skills within a team environment
- Adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
- Attention to detail and precision in executing recipes and plating dishes
Required experiences
- Prior experience working in a high-volume events setting
- Demonstrated expertise in preparing a wide range of cuisines for large-scale events
- Experience collaborating with event planners, chefs, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of event menus
- Familiarity with inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs within an events kitchen environment
- Track record of maintaining quality and consistency in food production while adhering to event timelines
Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year

- Certificate I - IV (Required)
Experience:
- Event Kitchen: 1 year (Required)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Handlers Certificate (Preferred)
