Silky Oaks Children’s Haven is looking for friendly and reliable volunteers to join our Op Shop team in Manly West.
As an Op Shop Volunteer Retail Assistant, you will help with day-to-day shop tasks including serving customers, sorting and pricing donations, displaying stock, keeping the shop tidy, and creating a welcoming environment for our customers.
This is a flexible volunteer role, and we are happy to work with you to find days and times that suit your availability.
Duties may include:
- Greeting and assisting customers
- Sorting donated clothing, homewares and other items
- Pricing and preparing stock for sale
- Restocking shelves and displays
- Keeping the shop clean and organised
- Helping with basic retail tasks at the counter
This role would suit someone who is friendly, dependable, enjoys working with people, and would like to support the work of Silky Oaks Children’s Haven.
No formal experience is required, although retail or customer service experience is welcome. Training and support will be provided.
