About the Role
Be part of history as a world-first sporting event arrives in Australia for the very first time. We are seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our Event Activation Team for the highly anticipated 2026 NFL Melbourne Game and an exciting lineup of world-class events.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a landmark event, creating unforgettable experiences for fans and guests while contributing to the energy and excitement of one of Australia’s most anticipated sporting moments.
As an Activation Team Member, you will play a key role in delivering engaging fan experiences through brand activations, guest interactions, event activities, and on-site support. You will help bring the event atmosphere to life by welcoming attendees, assisting with activations, encouraging participation, and ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable and seamless experience.
Mandatory requirement- All successful candidates must hold a valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Event Dates - 10th, 11th and 12th September (We are seeking team members who are available to work across all 3 event days)
Shift times - 8am-5pm (approximately TBC)
Location - Richmond
Key Responsibilities
- Create memorable fan experiences by engaging with guests and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the event.
- Support the delivery of fan zone activations, interactive experiences, games, competitions, and brand engagement activities.
- Welcome and interact with attendees, encouraging participation and creating an energetic and positive event atmosphere.
- Assist guests with event information, activation details, directions, and general enquiries.
- Support the setup, operation, and pack-down of activation areas, ensuring spaces are presented professionally and safely.
- Facilitate guest participation in interactive activities while ensuring smooth operations and positive experiences.
- Assist with managing queues, guest flow, and participant engagement at activation areas.
- Promote event activities, experiences, and key messaging to enhance fan engagement.
- Work collaboratively with event management, activation teams, brand representatives, venue staff, and security teams.
- Monitor activation areas and escalate any issues or guest concerns to the appropriate team members.
- Follow event procedures, Workplace Health and Safety requirements, and operational guidelines.
- Contribute to creating an exciting, welcoming, and memorable experience for all fans attending the event.
Skills & Experience
- Must hold a valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Previous experience in brand activations, promotions , customer service, events, hospitality or guest-facing roles.
- Confident and engaging communication style with the ability to interact with a wide range of guests.
- Strong communication skills
- Enthusiastic, approachable, and comfortable working in a high-energy event environment.
- Ability to create positive interactions and encourage guest participation.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with event teams.
- Ability to think on your feet, solve problems, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional presentation with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Experience working at major events, sporting events, fan zones, or activations is highly regarded.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and working flexible event hours, including weekends and peak event periods.
