Commercial Manager - Sonnel Hospitality
As Commercial Manager, you will lead commercial decision support and partner with senior leaders to deliver commercial outcomes
Reporting into Finance leadership, you will work in close partnership with the Senior Leadership Team and senior operational leaders, providing high-quality commercial insight that shapes strategy, investment and execution. You will position Finance as an enabler of outcomes while lifting the standard of commercial thinking across the business.
This is a senior, influential role for a commercially astute leader who thrives on constructive challenge, strong relationships and translating complexity into clarity.
Key responsibilities
- Own commercial decision support, performance commentary and business insights across the business
- Build trusted, influential relationships with the SLT and senior operational leaders, with early involvement in strategic and investment decisions
- Establish and uplift commercial standards for insight, analysis and engagement across Finance
- Enable a high performing Commercial function that operates with autonomy and minimal escalation into FP&A or Financial Operations
- Position Finance as a trusted commercial partner that enables execution and outcomes
- Foster an environment where constructive challenge is welcomed, strengthening leadership debate and decision quality
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, integrity and consistency in all commercial analysis
- Uphold strong commercial governance supporting pricing, investment and capital allocation decisions
- Proactively identify material financial and commercial risks
- Ensure consistent assumptions, metrics and definitions are applied across models and performance narratives
About you
- Proven experience in a senior commercial, finance business partnering or commercial management role within Hospitality
- Strong track record of influencing senior stakeholders and leadership teams
- Highly commercial mindset with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insight
- Confident communicator who brings rigour & challenge while building trust and credibility
- Strong governance mindset with sound judgement around risk, investment and value creation
- Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast moving, outcomes driven environment
- High attention to detail, integrity and consistency in financial and commercial analysis
