You’re an experienced leader who thrives in fast‑paced environments and enjoys driving operational improvements. You're looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
Sydney Trains’ Tangara fleet makes up a quarter of our suburban rail fleet. To ensure its longevity, the Tangara Fleet Life Extension project will upgrade operating systems, modernise onboard passenger information systems, and enhance accessibility features for mobility-impaired passengers. The project will also help build our future workforce capabilities, strengthen local economies and support the long-term growth of NSW’s transportation industry.
In this role, you'll:
Lead supply chain performance for the Tangara Fleet Life Extension (TFLE) project, managing a large, multidisciplinary team across warehouse operations, inventory planning and data analysis to support efficient and reliable delivery.
Oversee procurement activities, supplier performance and contract negotiations, ensuring materials are planned and delivered at the right time to maintain production flow in a complex, fast-paced environment.
Work closely with engineering, production and project teams to coordinate priorities, respond to changes and keep multiple workstreams operating effectively.
Drive continuous improvement by embedding Lean practices, lifting capability across the business and implementing more efficient, consistent ways of working.
