Bethesda Aged Care Centre is located in Central Queensland and is just a few kilometres south-west of the city centre Rockhampton. This single level residential aged care centre is surrounded by gardens and throughout the centre there is plenty of natural light. Offering all levels of care including short term respite care, it is a lively centre with a strong sense of community, clean fresh rooms and extensive lifestyle programs to cater to a range of individual preferences.
We are looking for Care Service Employees (Casual) to work in our residential aged care centre. It would be great if you were flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, e.g. morning, afternoon, night, weekend, public holiday.

You will play key role in delivering our award-winning model of care and make a real difference to residents' quality of life.
In the role of Care Service Employee at The Salvation Army, you will build strong, positive relationships with our residents and be responsible for the delivery of personal care and assistance to meet individual needs of our consumers. The role is to deliver homely and loving environments by providing care with compassion, respect, integrity and dignity.
You will be able to work under limited supervision and in accordance with the resident's care plan to:
Attend to routine checks, i.e. blood pressure, temperature, pulse, blood sugar
