Job Description:
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team in a very cosy café at the heart of Dulwich Hill. The ideal candidates will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. In return you will be awarded with a great pay.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly manner.
Take and prepare customer orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
Confident at using small kitchen equipment and utensils.
Preparing simple display food items such as sandwiches and wraps (training will be provided).
Efficient at preparing food order such as toasting sandwiches and cutting fruits and vegetables.
Operate cash registers. Confident in taking order with accuracy (training provided).
Washing and cleaning utensils and dishes.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Work closely with other team members to provide excellent service.
Monitor and restock inventory and supplies.
Qualifications:
At least 1-2 years of experience in a customer service and food service role.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to communication effectively with other team member.
Barista skill preferred but not essential.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Availability Requirement:
Monday - Morning and Afternoon
Friday - Morning and Afternoon
Saturaday - Monring and afternoon
Pay: $28.00 – $36.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
