Located in Victoria’s Great North East is Lancemore Milawa, a boutique hotel brimming with elegance and style – the perfect base to experience a rich bounty of world class food and wine, Australian history and breath taking landscapes.
We are currently looking for Handyperson/Gardeners who are passionate, hands-on and are guest focused
About The Role:

Deliver exceptional presentation of the gardens & grounds across the property.

Knowledge of modern techniques in Lawn mowing and edging, pruning trees and shrubs, fertilising, planting, turfing, pest and disease control,
-
Perform day-to-day general maintenance duties within the hotel rooms and public areas
-
Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergency calls
-
Maintain all tools, equipment, and working areas in proper condition
-
Make recommendations for the property and assist with the long-term planning and development of the complex.
About You:
-
Positive and optimistic attitude – "we can do anything" approach
-
Experience with fixing day to day things – lights, taps, painting etc
-
Logical approach to problem solving
-
Ability to coordinate contractors to get efficient results
-
Ability to understand what the customer sees – and ensure our property is always kept to the highest standard
-
Ability to work with teams, and communicate clearly and in time
-
Knowledge of a trade beneficial
-
Knowledge of relevant legislation, standards and codes of practice highly regarded
-
Strong communication skills
-
Supervisory experience of maintenance activities in a fast-moving lean environment
-
Hands on role with a solid understanding, ideally experience in hotels
