Hours: Monday – Thursday: 6:00am to 2:30pm | Friday: 6:00am to 12:30pm
PAY: $31.79 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Spices Blender to join a busy food manufacturing facility based in Braeside, VIC.
This role involves preparing and blending spices and food ingredients in a fast-paced production environment. You'll be responsible for accurately following recipes, handling raw ingredients, and maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards. The role requires regular manual handling and working in an environment with airborne spice dust and strong spice aromas.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and blend spices and food ingredients according to production requirements.
- Accurately follow recipes, measurements, and blending instructions.
- Operate blending and mixing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Lift and handle ingredient bags weighing up to 20 kg.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic work area.
- Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures.
- Work efficiently to meet daily production targets.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in food manufacturing, food handling, or ingredient blending (preferred).
- Experience operating blending or mixing equipment is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to accurately follow recipes, measurements, and production instructions.
- Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual handling (up to 20 kg).
- Comfortable working in a dusty environment with strong spice aromas.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time hours.
- Full Australian working rights.
