We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Chef or Cook to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to restaurant standards.
- Develop menus and create new recipes based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, plating, and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Manage budget and finance, inventory, order supplies, and minimize waste.
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff.
- Maintain high standards while working in a fast-paced environment.
Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen.
- Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required.
