The Role
As a Casual Clinical Support Worker, you will support clinical staff to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment at Thomas Embling Hospital. You will assist with de escalation, incident response, unit activities, and consumer engagement across rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Support prevention and management of aggression and incidents
- Assist with de escalation under clinical supervision
- Conduct safety checks and support emergency responses
- Observe and report changes in consumer behaviour
- Assist with unit activities and therapeutic programs
About You
You are calm under pressure, recovery focused, and able to work safely in high risk environments as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Requirements
- Certificate III in Security Operations or Correctional Practice
- Physical and mental capability to manage OVA
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in mental health, security or corrections (desirable
