ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance & Compliance Coordinator to play a pivotal role in the management of a growing portfolio of residential buildings.
Reporting directly to the Head of Building Management, you will be responsible for coordinating maintenance, compliance, and asset management activities, ensuring our properties remain safe, compliant, and operating at their best while delivering an exceptional experience for residents and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities of this role will include, but not limited to:
- Coordinate maintenance, defect rectification, capital works, and Body Corporate projects across a residential portfolio.
- Manage preventative maintenance programs to support asset performance, compliance, and resident satisfaction.
- Oversee contractor and service provider performance, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with standards.
- Coordinate quotes, approvals, and maintenance work in partnership with Body Corporate committees and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor and manage compliance obligations, including fire safety, statutory requirements, and WHS standards.
- Maintain accurate asset registers, maintenance records, and reporting within property management systems.
- Prepare stakeholder communications and provide timely updates on maintenance activities and projects.
- Act as a central point of coordination between caretakers, contractors, Body Corporate representatives, and internal teams.
- Contribute to a positive team culture while promoting a safe and compliant working environment.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong experience in administration – process improvement, documentation, and governance.
- Excellent communication skills, with strong written and verbal skills.
- Experience in facilities administration, compliance, or a similar property-related environment is highly regarded.
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Highly organised, with exceptional attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- Confident using systems and technology; experience with MYBOS software system will be advantageous.
