The Role
Doju has just had its three busiest weeks since opening, and we need good people urgently!
We are seeking an experienced Section Waiter to join our superstar front-of-house team. You will be responsible for managing your own section, providing polished, attentive service, and ensuring every guest feels genuinely looked after from start to finish.
The position is casual to start off, with an expectation of 15 to 25 hours per week, paid at the award rate for L2 F&B Attendant Grade 2.
Progression to a full time and / or management role is 100% on the table for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional, seamless service within an assigned section
- Maintain detailed knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and wine list
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth service flow
- Anticipate guest needs and provide an elevated, personalised experience
- Uphold our standards for presentation, timing, and hospitality
- Assist with opening, setup, and closing duties as required
About You
- At least two years' experience as a section or senior waiter in hatted or Michelin-starred venue
- Strong food and wine knowledge
- Impeccable attention to detail and presentation
- Calm, professional, and confident under pressure
- A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
- Current RSA (essential)
- A passion for hospitality and a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations
