Instant Community Care is a registered NDIS provider. We support people with disabilities to live safely, independently, and with dignity in their homes and within the community. We are currently looking for caring, reliable, and professional Disability Support Workers to join our growing team.
About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to NDIS participants in line with their individual goals and support needs.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and household support
- Supporting participants with community access and social activities
- Transportation to appointments and outings
- Following participant support plans and organisational procedures
- Promoting participant independence, dignity, and safety
- Providing respectful and compassionate support
Requirements
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, Community Services, or related field (preferred)
- Previous disability support experience is preferred
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Victorian driver licence and reliable vehicle
- Strong communication skills
- Professional, caring, and reliable attitude
Important Requirement
Excellent English communication skills are essential for this role. Applicants must be able to communicate clearly, professionally, and confidently with participants, families, and healthcare professionals.
Due to the specific support needs and preferences of one of our participants, this position is suitable for a male support worker.
