Required: Certificate III in Automotive Technology and Diagnosis
Duties:
· Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines and
other parts of vehicles
· Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering
mechanisms and other components, and checking parts
· Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling
mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as needed
· Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes,
lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles
and ensure compliance with pollution regulations
· Reassembling engines and parts after being repaired
· Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired and replaced
· verify vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives.
· Adjusting controls and systems.
· Contains costs by using warranty and evaluating service and parts options.
· Maintains vehicle records by recording services and repairs.
Essential Skills and Qualifications Required:
· Minimum one year post-qualification experience in a relevant field
· Min Certificate III level qualifications in Automotive Technology and Diagnosis
· Good communication skills
· Must be physically fit and quick to work around the workshop
· Ability to work unsupervised and with other team members
· Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new situations and requirements
· Self-confident personal who wants to contribute to the overall
success of our business
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
