About the Role
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hands to join our back-of-house team. This role is essential in supporting kitchen operations and maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and efficiency. Positions are available on a full-time, part-time, or casual basis.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation and kitchen tasks
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to maintain hygiene standards
- Ensure all cleaning duties are completed in a timely and thorough manner
- Remove rubbish and maintain general cleanliness of back-of-house areas
- Assist with stock organisation and deliveries as required
- Follow food safety and OH&S procedures at all times
Experience & Skills Required
- Previous experience as a kitchen hand or in a similar hospitality role is preferred but not essential
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices (training provided if needed)
