Assistant Manager (Level 3) – Full Time
Oshima Beaumaris is a modern Japanese restaurant with a strong reputation for quality dining and exceptional service. We are seeking a professional and motivated Assistant Manager (Level 3) to join our team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise front-of-house staff to drive sales and deliver outstanding customer service
* Actively promote beverage sales, upselling, and customer engagement to increase daily revenue
* Train and mentor team members (Lv1–Lv2) to improve product knowledge and service standards
* Collect customer feedback and implement service improvements to boost repeat business
* Support the Restaurant Manager with daily operations and act as duty manager in their absence
* Assist with ordering and inventory management, ensuring stock availability for sales growth
* Maintain compliance with workplace health, safety, and food safety standards
Requirements
* Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory or assistant management experience in hospitality
* Current and valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) Certificate
* Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Proven ability to increase sales through upselling and customer engagement
* Strong leadership, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
* Professional presentation and strong customer service focus
* Experience in Japanese/Asian dining environment (preferred)
