The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Customer Service Officer for an immediate start. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and strengthening customer relationships while ensuring service excellence across the business.
This is a vital, front-facing role where your ability to communicate effectively and manage competing priorities will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and business success.
Key Responsibilities

Communicate clearly and effectively with customers to understand and meet their needs

Deliver high-quality customer service via phone, email, and other communication channels

Provide timely updates regarding delivery schedules and changes
-
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external clients

Manage high volumes of enquiries while maintaining accuracy and professionalism

Ensure clear communication of workflows, issues, and updates within the team

Resolve customer issues efficiently to support customer retention

Perform data entry and ensure accurate documentation is provided to relevant teams
-
Assist with enquiries from metropolitan and regional depots
-
Undertake additional duties as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

Proven experience in a customer service environment

Transport or logistics industry experience (highly regarded but not essential)

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

A resilient, adaptable, and proactive approach

Excellent time management and organisational skills
-
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
