Portal Contractors is hiring a Traffic Controller/General Labourer for full-time work on private commercial projects. This is a rare opening on our team — consistent hours, premium sites, and CMFEU work. If you've got the tickets and the drive, we want you on the ground immediately.
What You'll Do
- Implement and manage Traffic Management Plans on live commercial sites
- Direct carts, trucks and pedestrians safely
- Set up, maintain, and remove temporary signage, barriers, and safety devices
- Conduct pre-start risk assessments and participate in daily toolbox talks
- Maintain daily logs, incident reports, and clear communication with site teams
What You Need
- Current Traffic Controller (TC) ticket/certification
- White Card (General Construction Induction Card)
- Valid driver's licence
- Strong safety awareness and reliable attendance
- Experience on commercial construction sites (highly regarded)
- First Aid / CPR certification (desirable)
- CFMEU tickets
