Taking Care Group Pty Ltd is a tree and stump removal specialist with over 20 years’ of industry experience operating based in Holden Hill, South Australia.
We are seeking at least one experienced, hard working, safety conscious team player with a customer service focus to work as a full time Arborist – Tree Climber.
Responsibilities and Main Duties
The Arborist will be responsible for attending to Tree Climbing and related activities while working as part of a crew of up to 3-4 (including other Arborists – Tree Climbers and ground crew staff members) to ensure that all services are provided to our valued clients in a safe, professional and efficient manner.
The main duties to be performed by the Arborist – Tree Climber include, but are not limited to:
- General Tree Climbing duties;
- Ensuring you are punctual and your attendance record is exemplary
- Ensuring that all work carried out is completed to an excellent standard
- Ensuring that company policies and occupational procedures are complied with
- Liaising with customers and other stakeholders on work activities including the follow up and completion of customer requests within the specified timeframes in a polite manner
- Provide a supportive team environment for all members of the crew
- Manage all documentation as outlined in the company guidelines on record management
- Work in an efficient and environmentally sound manner and in accordance with agreed service standards associated with Arboriculture related activities and applicable Australian Standards
- Assist management in the development and review of policies and procedures where applicable
- Drive and safely operate all forms of plant, machinery and vehicles as per operational requirements
- Use all forms of relevant P.P.E at all times as instructed
- Perform all required maintenance of plant and small plant
- Undertake a hands-on approach to tasks as required
- At all times perform all assigned tasks and operations in compliance with the relevant Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
- Have outstanding customer service skills
Skills, qualifications and employment experience
The successful candidate(s) must have the following qualifications and skills:
- Certificate III Arboriculture or higher qualification (or an international equivalent qualification);
- At least three years’ highly relevant employment experience;
- Demonstrated leadership skills;
- A basic understanding of Android / Windows based computer programmes;
- A demonstrated ability to complete complex risk assessments and document work methods and decisions made.
Salary
We provide all staff above Award rates, incentives and the opportunity of career development and progression for the right people.
Base annual salary approximately $80,000.00 - $90,000.00.
