This role will see you:
- Undertake both field and office-based cadastral survey work across a diverse range of Land Development projects throughout South East Queensland and beyond.
- Provide technical support and leadership to the Cadastral Team to ensure the successful delivery of cadastral services to a broad range of industry-leading clients.
- Assist with the management of client instructions, job briefs, project delivery, calculations, drafting and quality assurance.
- Lead and deliver cadastral survey projects from initial client instruction through to final deliverables.
- Mentor and train colleagues while conducting field audits and supporting the development of survey staff.
- Work on a diverse range of large-scale land development projects within South East Queensland as well as regional and remote areas.
- Engage with our multi-disciplinary teams to deliver collaborative project outcomes.
- Utilise a range of modern survey technologies including UAVs/Drones, 3D Laser Scanners, SLAM, Trimble GNSS and Robotic Total Stations.
- Continue to develop your technical, leadership and managerial skills within a supportive national consultancy environment.
Skills & Experience
The successful applicant will have strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with clients and staff to ensure the successful delivery of survey projects. Personal requirements for this role include:
- Minimum 5 years' experience working primarily on cadastral projects within Queensland.
- Registration with the Surveyors Board of Queensland, with Cadastral Endorsement preferred, or actively progressing towards cadastral registration. Experienced Associate Surveyors with extensive cadastral knowledge and experience will also be considered.
- Experience managing, reviewing and producing client deliverables using UAVs/Drones, 3D Laser Scanners, Trimble GNSS and Robotic Total Stations, utilising Trimble Business Centre (preferred) and AutoCAD.
- Comprehensive understanding of cadastral reinstatement principles and Queensland cadastral survey legislation and regulations.
- High level of technical and practical expertise in surveying.
- Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills.
- A commercially pragmatic approach with the ability to troubleshoot issues and develop practical solutions.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships across the business, with clients and external stakeholders.
