We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented full-time Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings, plans, and technical documentation using CAD software.
- Assist in the preparation of site layouts, construction drawings, and engineering specifications.
- Liaise with engineers, project managers, and construction teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance.
- Review and amend drawings based on project requirements and technical feedback.
- Maintain drawing registers and document control systems.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant Australian standards and regulations.
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A diploma degree or higher qualification in Civil Engineering, Engineering Design, Drafting, or a closely related field.
- At least one (1) year of relevant work experience in civil engineering drafting or a similar role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar drafting software.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Salary
AUD 75,000 – AUD 90,000 plus Superannuation (depending on experience)
