About the Role:
We are searching for a highly experienced Floor Installer and Finisher to join our team in a full-time capacity. As the Floor Installer and Finisher you will be responsible for preparing, installing and finishing Engineered Timber and Cork floors.
Company Van and tools provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for covering and installation of engineerd timber and cork flooring.
- Measure, cut and fit underlay materials.
- Lay flooring as per design, matching patterns, cutting boards and installing around fixtures and edges.
- Specialise in complex or difficult installations, including custom patterns.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure you are aware of customer preferences and choices before installation.
- Oversee quality control to ensure installations are completed properly.
- Stay updated on industry trends, certifications, and new installation techniques.
- Establish and enforce high-quality workmanship.
- Act as a point of contact for any issues that arise during the installation process.
- Stay current with industry standards, certifications, and installation techniques.
About you:
- Proven experience as a floor installer
- 3+ years’ experience as a floor installer with proven experience with timber and cork floors.
- Strong leadership skills and team management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of safety protocols and industry regulations
- Proficiency in using the tools needed to complete the installations.
- Certificate III in Flooring Technology highy regarded
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
