World Sport Action (WSA) builds the software that powers sports competitions across Australia, the US and the UK — think live scoring, competition management, and the platforms behind organisations like Football Australia and Netball Australia. We're a fast-growing Sydney-based sports-tech company scaling toward a major revenue milestone, and we need a sharp, organised graduate (or someone with a year or two under their belt) to join us as our Finance & Operations Coordinator.
Why this role is different from your average grad job:
You'll work directly alongside our MD of APAC — not buried under five layers of management. You'll get real exposure to how a scaling international business actually runs, across finance, operations, compliance, and strategy.
What you'll actually be doing:
- Helping manage day-to-day finance — invoicing, expenses, payroll coordination, accounts payable/receivable
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting
- Getting hands-on with financial records across our AU, US, and UK entities
- Working with spreadsheets and data to track performance and spot trends
- Helping build and improve the operational processes that keep the business running smoothly
- Liaising with external accountants, vendors, and suppliers
- Sitting in on the conversations where business decisions actually get made
What we're looking for:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Commerce or similar
- Comfortable in Excel/Google Sheets, and not scared of numbers
- Understanding of basic accounting principles preferred
- Naturally organised, with an eye for detail
- A proactive attitude — you'd rather fix a problem than wait to be told
- Good communicator who's keen to learn and not afraid to ask questions
- Bonus points if you're into sport, tech, or both

Pay: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
