About Simply Seated
Simply Seated is one of Australia's leading event hire, styling and activation companies, delivering exceptional experiences across corporate events, conferences, exhibitions, gala dinners, brand activations and weddings.
As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a motivated and relationship-driven Account Manager – Partnerships to help strengthen our network of venue, hotel, agency and corporate partnerships.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 3–5 years' experience in events, hospitality, account management or business development who is looking to take the next step in their career. You'll work closely with industry-leading venues, event professionals and corporate clients, building valuable relationships while contributing directly to the growth of the business.
About the Role
This is a highly client-facing role focused on relationship management, networking and partnership development.
You will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with our existing partners, identifying new opportunities, attending industry events and helping position Simply Seated as a preferred supplier across the events industry.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, building strong professional relationships and being out in the market representing a well-established brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture relationships with venues, hotels, event agencies and corporate partners
- Conduct regular client meetings, venue visits and industry networking
- Identify opportunities for referrals and new business
- Coordinate venue showcases, familiarisations and partner events
- Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders
- Assist with partnership proposals and preferred supplier agreements
- Track partnership activity and opportunities through our CRM
- Collaborate closely with the sales and operations teams to maximise opportunities
- Represent Simply Seated at industry functions and networking events
About You
- 3–5 years' experience in events, hospitality, account management, venue sales or business development
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Professional, confident and personable
- Highly organised and proactive
- Comfortable networking and meeting new people
- Commercially aware with a genuine interest in growing business relationships
- Passionate about events and creating exceptional client experiences
