About the Role
As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will manage your own caseload while delivering high-quality, person-centred behaviour support services under the NDIS.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs)
- Developing Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans
- Implementing evidence-based positive behaviour support strategies
- Coaching families, carers and support workers
- Working collaboratively with participants and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitoring outcomes and reviewing support plans
- Supporting the reduction and elimination of restrictive practices
- Maintaining high-quality clinical documentation and NDIS compliance
About You
We're looking for someone who is passionate about improving quality of life and empowering participants to achieve their goals.
You'll have:
- Current NDIS Registered Proficient Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner status (or above)
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Behavioural Science or a related discipline
- Minimum two years' experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support
- Strong assessment, report writing and clinical reasoning skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Current Driver Licence
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
