Are you a detail-oriented problem solver who thrives at the intersection of contracts, customer experience, and operational scale? Someone who can manage complexity across multiple concurrent deal cycles while identifying opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve?
We're looking for a [Senior] Private Pricing Contract Experience Manager to join the AWS Private Pricing Programs & Experiences (3PX) organization. PACE supports the end-to-end private pricing deal cycle, from intake through contracting, for AWS's customers. Our mission is to accelerate deal velocity, maintain the highest quality bar, and continuously improve the seller and customer experience at scale.
In this senior role, you'll own strategic initiatives with significant bottom-line impact, define and execute strategy with limited oversight, and influence cross-functional partners across Legal, Sales, Finance, and Product to remove systemic friction from the contracting process. You'll lead and orchestrate mechanisms across teams, communicate with direct and indirect stakeholders up to the VP level, and create scalable, long-term solutions that raise the bar for the entire organization.
The ideal candidate combines operational rigor with a builder's mindset. You manage ambiguity with confidence; whether the approach is defined or you must determine it yourself. You shift fluidly between tactical execution and strategic thinking, and are energized by finding scalable solutions to manual, repetitive work. You proactively leverage tools, especially including AI and automation, to continuously improve how work gets done, not just to complete today's task but to make tomorrow's easier. You communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, use data to inform every decision, and are known as a subject matter expert your peers and cross-functional partners seek out for guidance.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage multiple, complex private pricing contracting cycles simultaneously from intake and triage through execution, exercising high judgment and autonomous decision-making in ambiguous situations to drive deal velocity while maintaining the highest quality standards
- Own the contract process end-to-end, coordinating across internal teams (Legal, Sales, Finance) and external stakeholders to drive requests to closure; identify tradeoffs and negotiate actionable solutions
- Deliver results through scalable mechanisms — identify bottlenecks, track key input/output metrics, and generate actionable recommendations that improve team efficiency and customer experience
- Leverage automation opportunities and emerging tools (including AI-assisted solutions) to reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and scale self-service capabilities
- Create or optimize procedures to improve team, initiative, or mechanism efficiency; identify better practices for tracking and execution and make it easier for others to follow
- Lead cross-functional projects that drive operational improvements, communicating results and financial impact to direct stakeholders and contributing to business mechanisms (QBR, MBR, WBR)
- Define and own the strategic roadmap for your program area — determining goals, setting priorities, establishing best practices, and measuring success at the team and org level with limited oversight
- Lead and orchestrate initiatives that span multiple teams or geographies, driving adoption of best practices for operational excellence and accelerating progress through cross-team mechanisms
- Influence senior leadership (Director level and above) with data-driven recommendations; represent the team in cross-organizational forums and contribute to strategic documents (OP1, QBR, GTM)
- Mentor and develop team members; invest in educating and training critical personnel on mechanisms and solutions; raise the performance bar through knowledge sharing
- Identify systemic gaps and mitigate long-term risks before they appear on the roadmap; drive resolution through partnership with engineering, product, and legal teams
