The Yenda Hotel is seeking a motivated and experienced Venue Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our busy country hotel.

We are looking for a leader who is passionate about hospitality and can manage all aspects of hotel operations, including bar, gaming, staff management, customer service, compliance, and venue presentation.
The successful applicant will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for locals and visitors whilst ensuring the venue operates efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations
- Complete daily reconciliations, banking, cash handling, and end-of-day financial reporting
- Lead, train, and manage staff
- Maintain high standards of customer service
- Manage stock control and ordering
- Ensure compliance with RSA, RCG, and WHS requirements
- Monitor gaming and bar operations
- Handle rostering and labour management
- Drive venue presentation and cleanliness
- Assist with promotions, events, and community engagement
- Monitor and drive promotional activity in line with Bottlemart standards
Skills & Experience
- Previous hospitality management experience is preferred but not essential
- Current RSA & RCG Competency Cards. An Advanced RCG competency is preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Experience with gaming and hotel operations or other hospitality setting.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
