Registered Nurse – Hair Transplant
ABOUT US:
Evolved Hair Restoration is a specialist medical clinic based in South Perth, Western Australia, providing advanced surgical hair restoration using Direct Hair Implantation (DHI) and Follicular unit extraction (FUE).
We are committed to delivering safe, evidence-based surgical care in a modern, fully accredited clinical environment. As our surgical caseload continues to grow, we are expanding our nursing team and seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join us on a permanent full-time basis.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
You will work closely with our hair transplant surgeons in a high-volume surgical environment, assisting throughout procedures with a particular focus on Choi pen loading and direct follicular implantation while delivering exceptional patient care.

● Confirm and document informed consent processes in conjunction with the operating surgeon, and verify patient identification, procedure site and surgical safety checklists.
● Perform the instrument (scrub) and circulating (scout) nursing roles throughout DHI and FUE procedures, anticipating surgical requirements, managing instrumentation and maintaining the integrity of the sterile field.
● Administer and monitor prescribed medications, including local anaesthetic and adjunct agents, in accordance with medical orders, NMBA standards and clinic medication management policy, and monitor and document patient response.
● Assess, monitor and interpret patient vital signs and clinical status intra-operatively and during post-anaesthesia recovery; recognise, escalate and initiate a clinical response to deterioration, adverse drug reactions and anaphylaxis.
● Undertake specialised graft handling and preparation, including precision loading of Choi implanter pens, graft counting, storage, hydration and viability management within defined clinical protocols.
● Assess and manage post-operative wounds, donor and recipient sites, dressings, analgesia and haemostasis, and evaluate healing progress at post-operative review appointments.
● Provide clinical education, counselling and written and verbal advice to patients and carers regarding pre-admission preparation, wound care, medication regimens, activity restrictions, expected outcomes and complication recognition.
● Coordinate, delegate to, supervise and mentor enrolled nurses, surgical technicians, assistants in nursing and student nurses, and contribute to their clinical assessment and professional development.
● Maintain accurate, timely and legally compliant clinical documentation and nursing records, and ensure the confidentiality and security of patient health information in accordance with privacy legislation.
HEALTH AND SAFETY:
● Comply with all requirements of the Work Health and Safety legislation and clinic policies.
