About the Role
As a Speech Pathologist, you will provide assessment and therapy across a diverse range of communication and swallowing needs. Your caseload can be tailored to your experience, interests and preferred client group.
Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualised treatment plans

Providing evidence-based intervention for speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders

Working with clients across different age groups, depending on your interests

Collaborating with Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals

Supporting clients, families and carers with practical communication strategies and education
-
Monitoring client progress and maintaining high-quality clinical documentation
-
Participating in case discussions and contributing to a positive multidisciplinary team environment

Staying up to date with current clinical practices through ongoing professional development
About You
We are looking for a passionate and client-focused Speech Pathologist who is committed to delivering high-quality clinical care.
You will ideally have:

A recognised tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology

Current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership or eligibility for membership

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
A genuine interest in helping clients achieve their individual goals
-
The ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team
-
A commitment to evidence-based practice and continued professional development
Experience working with both paediatric and adult clients is highly regarded, however, clinicians with a preference for one particular age group are also encouraged to apply. New graduates are welcome to apply.
