**Job Title:** Part time Casual Labelling Assistant/Kitchen Hand

**Hours** Average 15 hrs per week

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a labelling assistant and kitchen hand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the food manufacturing kitchen, ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, labelling the containers based on numbers, lifting, filling and packaging on production line and providing support to our food production team. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is able to multitask effectively, and possesses a strong work ethic.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the labelling containers using machine based on numbers every week.
- Assist in filling of products on production line.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping produce.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area, including washing utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Support production staff during service by replenishing supplies, clearing dishes, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
**Requirements:**
- Only PR or citizens will be considered for this role. No work visa or holiday visa please.
- Previous experience in a production kitchen environment is highly desirable
- Previous experience in a as a labelling assistant will be desirable
- Experience working in food manufacturing industry is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and take direction from senior staff members.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work more hours if required.
