Kanji & Co is seeking a Dispute Resolution Solicitor (1–3 PQE) to join our in-house legal team based in Sydney CBD.
This is an opportunity to work on complex commercial disputes, litigation matters, and regulatory investigations while gaining direct access to clients, business leaders, and experienced senior lawyers.

About the Role
Working closely with the Head of Dispute Resolution (a senior litigator with 15+ years’ experience), you’ll assist with a broad range of commercial disputes and litigation matters.
You’ll have the opportunity to manage matters, provide practical commercial advice, and build strong client relationships without the pressure of billable targets or business development.
What You’ll Do

Assist with commercial disputes, litigation, and regulatory investigations

Manage matters independently with support from experienced lawyers

Work directly with business managers and directors to understand issues and provide advice

Draft court documents, affidavits, witness statements, motions, applications, and settlement documents

Provide advice on contractual obligations, WHS compliance and responses to other legal processes such as, subpoenas, and notices to produce

Liaise with Counsel, experts, and other law firms

Conduct legal research and develop commercially focused solutions
About You
You are a commercially minded solicitor who enjoys problem-solving and wants broader exposure beyond traditional private practice.
You will have:

1–3 years’ post-admission experience in commercial litigation or dispute resolution

Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills

Knowledge of litigation processes and court procedure

Confidence working directly with clients and stakeholders

Ability to manage competing priorities and take ownership of matters

Strong attention to detail and commercial judgement
