Base Zero is seeking an independent contractor to operate a mobile rock climbing wall in the Brisbane region. You'll help bring the thrill of rock climbing to participants at a wide variety of events.
Get paid to bring adventure to schools, festivals, community events and corporate functions. You'll tow and operate a mobile climbing wall, manage event setup and pack-down, and create an exciting, safe and unforgettable experience for climbers of all ages. Every day is different, with plenty of autonomy, variety and smiling customers.
This opportunity offers immediate cash flow with a full calendar of events already booked and an immediate start available. Last year, revenue for this wall was $100,000, before operating expenses and taxes. All insurances are paid by us.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
If you have one or more of the following attributes, this may be a great opportunity for you:
- Experience in any of the following areas: outdoor education, vacation care, sport and recreation, fitness, leisure, youth services or support services OR
- Competent driver OR
- Technically minded OR
- Mechanically competent OR
- Business-minded and self-motivated.
You must:
- Own or have regular access to a vehicle with a minimum 2.5-tonne towing capacity and hold an open driver's licence.
- Be at least 25 years of age due to insurer requirements.
- Be fit and healthy with a friendly personality.
- Hold a Blue Card, First Aid and CPR certification, or be willing to obtain them.
- Be available to accept bookings - predominantly weekends during school term and weekdays during school holidays.
- Have suitable premises to store the climbing wall trailer or access to a local storage facility (we can help with this).
