We are seeking skilled and reliable Field Service Technicians to join our growing team in Darra. As part of a nationally recognised business, you'll work on a range of construction and earthmoving equipment, providing servicing, diagnostics and repairs that keep our customers operating efficiently and safely.
We're looking for technicians with strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to quality workmanship, and a desire to build a long-term career with a growing organisation.
You'll play a critical role in supporting our customers and maintaining equipment to the highest standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing maintenance, servicing and repairs on construction and earthmoving equipment
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective troubleshooting and repairs
- Completing equipment inspections and preparing machines for delivery
- Undertaking field service work at customer sites (for field-based positions)
- Completing workshop repairs and equipment preparation
- Accurately completing job cards, service reports and maintenance documentation
- Maintaining high standards of safety, housekeeping and workmanship
- Providing professional, customer-focused service and support
- Working independently while collaborating with the broader service team
We're looking for motivated technicians who take pride in their work and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
To be successful, you'll have:
- Trade qualification in Mobile Plant Technology, Heavy Diesel Mechanics or a related field
- Experience servicing and repairing construction, earthmoving or mobile equipment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
- A current driver's licence (essential)
