We require staff who are available some weekdays & (mainly) weekends. There are multiple positions of employment available for reliable and experienced applicants, ranging from First Aid Medics, Advanced Medics / Responders & Paramedics.
Locations include:
Mt Gambier, Waikerie & Berri.

Your Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
- Current Provide First Aid (HLTAID011)
- Current CPR (HLTAID009)
- Police Check (or willing to obtain)
- Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- Own reliable vehicle
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Empathy / Compassionate
- Excellent decision making ability
- Excellent team player as well as confident when working solo
- Excellent observation skills
Strong ability to cope under stressful situations

Desired:
- Current Provide Advanced First Aid Certificate (HLTAID014)
- Current Provide Advanced Resuscitation Certificate (HLTAID015)
- Certificate IV in Health Care
- Diploma Emergency Health
- Own first aid kit (to reduce logistics & for ease of placement)
- Own diagnostic equipment
- Experience in pre-hospital care
Colmed Group pays according to the Health Professionals & Support Service Award. For First Aid Medics, depending on age and experience, pay rates range from $27.98-$35.15 weekday and $39.17-$49.21 weekend. Paramedics, range from $39.99-$50.71 weekday and $55.98-$68.08.
Preferable minimum commitment to Colmed Group on a casual basis is 12 months with availability for 3 shifts per month.
