About the role:
ISAS - Integrated Switchgear and Systems Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Technician to join our team in Perth, Western Australia.
This is a full-time permanent position within our switchboard manufacturing department.
What you’ll be doing:
The Electrical Engineering Technician assembles, repairs and maintains electrical
switchboards, complex LV electrical switchgear and electrical switchrooms.
The role includes:
§ Wiring and assembly of components in conformance with plans and specifications
§ set-up and operation of equipment and tools
§ troubleshooting faults according to operating and Australian standards;
§ undertaking preventative maintenance and
§ complying with health and safety regulations, practices and legislation and quality systems;
Key responsibilities
§ Study project specifications plans, drafts and other documents to determine the tools and materials needed;
§ Accurately assemble components in accordance with quality systems, plans etc;
§ Observe and inspect machines and tools to ensure proper functioning;
§ Check finished products for proper compliance, and measure and test assembly of finished parts to ensure accurate assembly and quality;
§ Report any nonconformance and errors in the product;
§ Respond quickly to fault notification;
§ Initiate orders for parts, components and consumables.
What we’re looking for:
A Degree in Electrical Engineering, or similar; or at least three years of relevant industry experience.
Min 1 year experience working with electrical switchgear, switchboards, control panels, motor control centres or industrial electrical systems.

Pay: $79,500.00 – $85,000.00 per year

- Certificate I - IV (Preferred)
