Experienced Carpenter – Structural Timber Framing
Ascent Carpentry is a Sydney-based structural timber framing business looking for an experienced carpenter to join our team. We frame residential homes for established builders across Sydney and take pride in quality workmanship and running tidy, well-organised sites.
The role
You'll be framing homes from the ground up - wall frames, pitching roof, floor systems, and structural timber work. This is hands-on framing work for someone who knows their trade and can work efficiently to plan.
What we're looking for
- Qualified carpenter (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent) with proven framing experience
- Strong ability to read and work off plans
- Confident framing homes with minimal supervision
- Solid understanding of structural timber work, wall frames, roofs, and subfloors
- Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
- White Card (mandatory)
- Own reliable transport and basic tools
- Australian working rights
