Southport Sharks is seeking a Part Time Administration Assistant to join our Executive Office and provide support to the Chief Operating Officer and broader Leadership Team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to executive operations, projects and governance activities while building a pathway towards future Executive Assistant opportunities.
As one of the Gold Coast’s premier hospitality and sporting venues, Southport Sharks is home to multiple dining outlets, event spaces, and fitness facilities, all powered by a dedicated team who love what they do. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Executive Office. You will coordinate meetings, assist with overall administration, support organisational projects and contribute to key business initiatives across one of the Gold Coast's leading clubs.
What you'll be doing....

Provide administrative support to the COO and Executive Assistant

Coordinate meetings, travel, catering and executive schedules

Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence and meeting documentation

Maintain action registers, project documentation and governance record

Support organisational projects, business improvement initiatives and strategic priorities

Coordinate internal events, recognition activities and organisational functions

Assist with communication, stakeholder engagement and office administration

Support technology, AI and operational improvement initiatives across the Club

Previous experience in an administration support role (2-3+ years)

Strong organisational and time management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Strong stakeholder and customer service skills

Experience using AI and digital productivity tools (advantageous).
