The Opportunity
This is not a conventional Assistant Manager role.
You will be a key leader on the floor driving service, shaping team performance, and ensuring every detail aligns with Rockpool’s exacting standards.
This role suits a hospitality professional who is serious about their craft and ready to operate in a high-performance, premium dining environment.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading service with confidence, presence, and attention to detail
- Supporting the Restaurant Manager in daily operations and team performance
- Coaching and developing a highly skilled front-of-house team
- Maintaining consistency across service, product knowledge, and guest experience
- Upholding the standards that define Rockpool—precision, warmth, and professionalism

- Proven leadership experience in premium or fine dining environments
- A deep respect for hospitality as a craft, not just a job
- Strong service instincts, with the ability to read the floor and lead in real time
- A commitment to detail, consistency, and continuous improvement
- The ability to develop people and build a high-performing team culture
- Current RSA certification
