Selection Criteria:
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Evidence of general registration and 24 months of clinical experience.
- Demonstrated vocational interest in Forensic Pathology such as relevant skills, previous employment, training or research in Anatomical or Forensic Pathology or related fields.
- Demonstrated commitment to the principles of clinical quality management including participation in quality improvement initiatives.
- Proven ability to work as a team member with effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and adaptability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Demonstrated personal qualities including motivation, initiative, time management and commitment to professional development.
Demonstrated capacity to adopt and model the NSWHP RITES values of Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, Excellence and Safety.

This is a Category A position. All Category A applicants must read and understand Policy Directive PD2026_004 Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination against specified diseases. All new recruits must agree to comply with the requirements outlined in this policy. New recruits must provide evidence against specified diseases and comply with the requirements of this policy at their own cost prior to appointment.

All staff employed by NSW FASS may be required to supply a reference buccal sample so that their DNA profile can be compared to other generated profiles to exclude the possibility of contamination.
